KOLMARDEN ZOO SAFARI RIDE
In the spring of 2011 a brand new ride will open in Kolmarden Zoo, the biggest zoo in Sweden. This Swedish zoo has developed an innovative new ride experience in combination with a Zoo.
An impressive gondola ride has been developed in which visitors can experience the different animal habitats of the park from up close flying over the animals. Seated in gondolas, the track leads visitors over a big part of the park while various techniques draw the animals to the gondola so guests have a better view.
Kolmarden asked Jora Vision to come up with a story for the ride and to design and build the boarding station. We have created an early 20th century African colonial building filled with animal artifacts from all around the world.
